PHASE 2 PART2 SPEC. PAGE
(Registrations, Member Levels, Featured Picks)

Phase2: Registrations:

1) All sites, including the playbook group, will have “Powered By Ecapper Sports Ecommerce Payment System” logo’s on them.

2) An E-mail will be sent to all existing (active in good standing) members explaining that the “Ecapper Sports Ecommerce Payment System” has been implemented and that their existing membership information will allow the user to make a purchase at any web site that carries the Ecapper Payment System logo.

3) If a customer fills out the registration form (with the purpose of making a purchase) at any site using the Ecapper Payment System, the system will check the member table against these 5 values:
-   1) User ID
   -  2) PW
    - 3) Street Address including Zip
    - 4) e mail address
  -   5) credit card number
If any of the above values do not match then this registration is considered a NEW registration. This means that the user is a level 0 until the purchase button is clicked. If he makes a purchase from this new registration he is allowed purchases totaling $50. He will then be ‘suspended’ from additional purchases until verification of his registration information in completed by the admin. staff. This first purchase is actually free because we will not authorize his card. He is in the system as a new member and has to be verified.

If all 5 values are an exact match then he has is informed that he has previously joined the system and may purchase with his existing member information. No changes have been made to the existing member table here. He must use the existing member table information or be treated as a new member. At no time will we allow this process to edit or change any existing member information stored in the member table.

4) The layout of the existing registration pages will change slightly to accommodate some one who clicks on Free Registrations. That page will have text alerting the user of the Ecapper Payment System. (It will also contain a small form with just his name/address/city/state/zip and phone). It will also have a link the user will click on if this registration is for the purpose of making a purchase. This link will take him to the registration page used for making a purchase (includes credit card information and user name/password fields). Also if the user actually fills out the first short portion and then clicks on the link for registering to make a purchase we will carry forward any usable information from the first form to the actual purchasing registration form. If the user simply fills out the first short form that will be stored as a non purchasing member to that site only. This means that if he returns at a later date to make a purchase he will have to submit another registration for the purposes of purchasing.

Featured Picks:
Featured Picks will be handled by an additional entry in the handicapper/site assignment table. If capper 27 has the ability to sell picks on sites 9, 15 and 17 AND is featured on 9 then he will receive a Featured Pick call out on the home page of site 9 but not 15 and 17.

- Site Supervisors will tell us who can be featured on that his site.
- No more that 5 featured picks at any given.
- If the supervisor chose not to use the featured pick option then the featured picks for his site will be up to the first 5 in the pick database assigned to his site.


Membership Levels:

Level 0: This is after an initial registration. An actual 'purchase' is not relevant because we are giving 1 pick for FREE regardless of the registration or price of the pick. This member MUST BE VERIFIED BEFORE HE CAN MAKE AN ACTUAL PURCHASE.

If this member attempts to 'purchase' more that 1 pick at the time of registration he receives the following message:
Thank you for your Powered by Ecapper registration. You are attempting to purchase more picks than your membership allows, please return to the guaranteed picks page and select one item that you wish to purchase.

If this member attempts to make purchases BEFORE HE HAS BEEN VERIFIED receives the following message:
According to our records your membership has not yet been verified. Please call 1-800-123-1234 to complete your registration process. We apologize if this is an inconvenience to you but it is for your safety that we verify the information we have on file.

Level 1: This customer HAS BEEN VERIFIED. He can purchase 7 picks in a 7 day period. This level lasts for 90 days and he must purchase at least 48 picks in this time to be ready to move to Level 2. Graduation form Level 1 to Level 2 will be handled by Strongsville Administrative Action, NOT AUTOMATICALLY BY THE SYSTEM.

Level 2: 14 Picks w/in a 7 day period. He must make at least 96 picks in the 180 days.
Same as in Level 1 Strongsville Office Administration will make the change to move the customer from this Level.

Level 3: 21 picks w/in a 7 day period...

After a customer has successfully purchased 96 picks and has remained in good standing for 270 days - his account is manually move to Level 3. He is then monitored and cannot move to a higher level.

Site supervisors have the ability to reset a members account once per 7 day period. If another site supervisor attempts to reset the same members' account for a second time w/a 7 day period it generates a message alerting the supervisor that this member's account has already been reset once during the 7 day period and cannot allow this process.

We'll (ecapper) will inform the site supervisor to handle this w/his best professionalism and explain the importance of the system to him as to why we need these controls in place - and c'mon 14 picks / 28 picks and 42 picks w/a 7 day period should be enough action...
